ImpossibleShape.com analyzes drawings directly in your browser. Uploaded images and canvas drawings are processed locally and are not sent to our servers by the shape detector.

Information we process

The detector processes images, drawing strokes, and geometry in browser memory. Detector state lasts for the current page session. If you email us, we receive the contact details and message content you choose to send. We use that information to reply, investigate bugs, review correction requests, or discuss partnerships. Contact is by email; this application has no contact submission form.

Cookies and browser storage

The drawing tool does not use cookies or localStorage to store drawings. Google Analytics uses first-party measurement cookies, including _ga and _ga_Q34TE1VSKC, configured with a 30-day lifetime. Analytics loads automatically; this site has no analytics consent panel. See the cookie policy for the current storage explanation.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 (G-Q34TE1VSKC) to measure visits and page usage. Google receives browser and device information and processes network information when requests are made. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled in the site tag. Our page-view events omit URL query strings and fragments so shared drawing data is not included in those events. We do not attach uploaded images, drawing strokes, or geometry verdicts to analytics events. Google Analytics is separate from the local drawing detector. Sharing a result

You may choose to copy a result link or download a verdict card. A copied URL can include the selected preset or drawing data. Anyone you send the URL to can read the information encoded in it, and a URL requested from a host can appear in request logs. Do not share private drawings through a result URL.

Server logs

Hosting providers commonly process basic request logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp for security, debugging, and reliability. These logs are not used by the detector to reconstruct uploaded drawings.

Retention and requests

Contact emails may be retained as long as needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or handle source and correction requests. To request deletion or correction of a message you sent, contact [email protected].

Future changes

If data handling changes, this policy will be updated to explain the new processing. You can block analytics requests or delete measurement cookies through your browser settings.
